I just got back from swimming in this picture. She cuddled with me like this for over an hour. What more can you want out of life.

Big sister was all of a sudden very quiet, so I went looking for her and found her in her sisters car seat

She is such a big helper, and she just loves her Buby.

First time in the car seat. It was quit the process to get her in it and secured. I think she looks like she likes it????

We love all of you. We wish we could send you some sunflowers to brighten your day. But here is the next best thing.

First Batch of Beets

Well, here we go with canning season. I will be pickling these beets. I love my little sink outside. Now I don't bring all that dirt inside.

We also picked our first carrots and of course onions are coming on strong.

Answering A Question…H1N1 First responders and those who have to work | Totally Ready

Here is an interesting post from Totally Ready

As of this morning the number of cases of H1N1 in the United States is 17855 with 45 deaths. The flu has not slowed down as much as was expected and the real concern I have is that the CDC is no longer identifying cases. The numbers above are the same as they were on June 12th. We really have no idea how many new cases have been identified in the past 5 days.

We need to keep thinking about preparing. Check out the Totally Ready on my side bar

30th Anniversary

Well, we choose our favorite thing to do together. We went on a hike that took us 5 hours. We were on trails for most of the way, but you know Bruce, he had to blaze his own trail for a little ways, and that ways was straight up. I got a big panicky at one point worrying that I might have to go down what I was just climbing up. But like usual Bruce got me home safe with just a little adventure. It was breath taking views. As we topped the mountain with the newly blazed trail, we could see Diamond valley off in the distance and between us was Snow Canyon. What a sight. Latter that evening we stayed at home and had our favorite dinner of barbecued shrimp with a fruit salad and beet greens. We must be getting old!!! Then we watched a Jane Austin movie "Persuasion" Now you know Bruce is growing old, because he actually enjoyed watching it with me.
Life and Marriage have struggles, but from those struggles can come great things, if we let the Lord work with us and teach us and help us grow together. Every anniversary just gets better and better. We can't imagine life any better then we have it right now. I hope all my kids can experience love like this. But they will have to give it 30 years.
