What a Girl

Braquel is quit the girl!! I thought she was so cute as she left for school today, so I had to share her with you today.

This is her tennis coach. I used to babysit his older siblings when we lived in Richfield, and His dad was on my Dad's tennis team in Richfield. What a small world.

The Light of My LIfe

Everyone of us is born with a light, "that lighteth every man that cometh into the world." John 1:9. You can see it in our little new born babies that have just recently joined the family. They glow from having just been in God’s presence. The love that flows from them to us, is a message sent from Him above; a brief reminder of what we also once knew and felt.

Light feels good, dispels darkness, and forsakes the evil one. It opens our minds and hearts more and more to who we are and what we can become.
24 That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day. D&C 50: 24
67 And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things. D&C 88: 67

Since this light comes from Christ, it is through contact with Him that we receive more of it. HOW? The price to be paid is quiet, focused, concentrated TIME.

Here she goes!!! Homecoming!!! She decided on Monday that she didn't like the dress she had picked out of Breonna's wardrobe, so she bought some material and came up with this. What a girl. Her date is Jeremy Slack, very nice guy, except he's a Utah Fan.

Bruce has grown a forest of Sunflowers. Some of them grew to be 8 feet tall. He has now harvested them, and we have a 10 year supply.

Jaron was born at 11:35 PM on Bruce's birthday. It was close, but he made it. What a great birthday present. Our first Grandson.

Summer with the Burnetts

Loved our week with Lydia and Gracie

Bruce and his pal Gracie
Who looks like the oldest. Yup, She's a half a century old now!!!!

The lawn mower was very popular

Grandma's kisses make the Grandbabies grow really good
Got to hve Gracie and Lydia together for a week. They love pushing the strollers down the street.
This is such a great picture. She had all these bows in hair and then sat behind the farm and peered through the window. What a girl
We welcomed Sabrina into the family July 10

At the sand dunes behind our house
Braquel really enjoyed having Brittney and Lydia around. It's not quit so lonely

Lydia and Brittney spent six weeks with us. It was so much fun.Bruce enjoying his yard!!!

4th of July with the Mod Squad. We left at 5:30 in the morning and did a three hour bike ride

Beautiful viewsThen Breakfast at the Burnetts

Breonna took us on her favorite 4 wheeler route. It overlooks the whole valley. We had also been swimming that day and we played tennis. Just one of those rare days we could just do as we please.
Our 29th anniversary we hiked up on Pine Valley Mountain, and of course, it snowed.
Brittney taught me how to groom Dexter
